Commissions

Let’s create
something personal.

A commission begins with a place, a person or a memory — and ends with a painting that could only belong to you.

Who commissions work

Private collectors buying their first original painting. Families who want a specific house, harbour or grandmother on a wall. Interior designers and architects looking for a single anchoring piece. Hotels and restaurants that would rather have one memorable painting than twenty forgettable prints.

The process

01 — Idea

You bring a place, a person, a photograph or a feeling. We decide together whether it wants to be a painting.

02 — Conversation

A call or a studio visit. Scale, palette, timeline, budget and where the work will hang. A written proposal follows within a week.

03 — Creation

Studies first, then the canvas. You receive progress photographs at two agreed stages, with one round of notes included.

04 — Delivery

The finished work is signed, documented and crated. Shipping and installation guidance included worldwide.

Practical notes

Timeline. Most commissions take eight to twelve weeks. Larger works and triptychs are quoted individually.

Investment. Commissions begin at $3,400. Price depends on scale and complexity, agreed before anything begins.

Rights. You receive the physical work and the right to display it. Reproduction rights remain with the artist.
